Chesterfield Royal Hospital Foundation Trust is pleased to present affordable and quality accommodation for colleagues working or studying at the hospital.

The Trust offers several different grades of accommodation in our own well-maintained facilities and these may be available to colleagues depending on occupancy rates.

Grades of Accommodation

Available for short or long stays.

Comprises of a single private bedroom.

Four residents share a kitchen, bathroom, and toilet.

Regular housekeeping service is provided to the communal areas including the kitchen and bathroom. No housekeeping is provided in the bedrooms once occupied.

Several classic grade rooms are available for student use only - these are offered at a slightly lower monthly rate as council tax is not paid on these rooms.

Please note: All Deluxe rooms are fully occupied for any long-term bookings with a waiting list in place. We may be able to help for limited short stay periods, please contact to the Accommodation Office for more details.


Available for short or long stays.

Comprises of a large single bedroom with a private lounge/study area.

Two residents share a kitchen, toilet, and bathroom.

Regular housekeeping service is provided to the communal areas including the kitchen, toilet, and bathroom. No housekeeping service is provided in the bedrooms once occupied.

Please note: All studio apartments are fully occupied with a waiting list in place. Please contact to the Accommodation Office for more details.
 

Minimum 6 months tenancy.

The studio apartment is self-contained and combines a living room, bedroom and kitchen into a single room with a separate bathroom.

This is suitable for a single occupant or a married/partner couple - there are no facilities for children. 

Tenants are responsible for their own housekeeping once occupied.

Minimum 6 months tenancy.

Comprising a double-bedroom, lounge, dining area, study area and bathroom. 

They contain an open plan lounge/dining area with a kitchen and a separate bedroom and bathroom.

All apartments are self-contained and are suitable for a single occupant or a married/partner couple - there are no facilities for children.  Tenants are responsible for their own housekeeping once occupied.

All the above accommodation grades have access to:

  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Communal TV lounge
  • Laundry facilities (payable by coins)
  • Prayer room
  • Outside seating areas

Utilities are also included.

Our 3-bedroom family homes are all semi-detached houses. They are fully furnished and include kitchen appliances. 

They also include a downstairs toilet, lounge, dining room, fitted kitchen, bathroom, three good-sized bedrooms and a regularly maintained garden.

All houses have parking areas and are suitable for families with children or dependant relatives. 

Tenants are responsible for their own housekeeping once occupied.

Gas, Electric and Wi-Fi are charged additionally and billed directly by the suppliers to the tenants.
