Your Experience Matters
Here at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, we want all our patients to have a good experience. If your experience is good or if your experience could be better let us know, the Trust listen to your feedback to learn and improve.
The Patient Experience Team
The Patient Experience Team is responsible for:
- Friends and Family Test (patient feedback)
- Patient Experience Surveys
- The Bereavement Service
- Carers
- Interpreting
- Volunteer Services
- Other organisations
You can leave feedback on your experience if you are the patient, relative, carer or visitor. You can leave a compliment for staff who looked after you and we will make sure that they see this. Click here to leave a compliment, just select the area you were seen from the drop-down list and press continue and leave your compliment.
Another way for you to leave feedback is by completing the Friends and Family Test surveys, you will be given a yellow postcard with a short survey to complete after your appointment or stay with us, or you can do this electronically by clicking this link and choosing the area you were seen from the drop-down menu and complete the survey.
If your experience is not good, we work hard to learn and improve to make things better. If you are unhappy with any part of you or your loved one’s care, speak with the person in charge of the ward or department and our staff will do their best to resolve any concerns you have.
If you are still unhappy, you can speak with the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) who will be able to help. You may be asked for your details and the PALS team may need to access your information to help with your enquiry. To contact the PALS team, please click here.
If you would like to leave a compliment for staff or services please select this link and choose the area where you were seen in the drop down menu and start, this will let you leave your compliment, just click submit at the end and we will ensure this is passed onto the team looking after you.
The Team also supports our patients with other services:
- The Bereavement Service supports families and friends and guide you through the process of what to do following the loss of a loved one.
- Carers
- Interpreting and Translations – if you or your loved ones need support with communication, please let the team looking after you know, and they will arrange this for you either over the telephone or in person.
- Volunteers
