A heartfelt thank you to Jo-Anne Oldfield, Managing Director of The Sitwell Arms Hotel, and everyone who joined her for their Black-Tie Charity Ball.
They raised an incredible £18,000 for Chesterfield Royal Hospital Trust Charity – that will go towards our Neonatal Unit and new Memorial Garden on our Maternity Ward.
This brings Jo-Anne’s total donations to a remarkable £138,000 over the past 11 years -all in loving memory of her son, Mac Oldfield.
She said: “I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the kindness and generosity of so many people. The legacy we are building in Mac’s name is truly special, and I can’t thank everyone enough for making this possible.
“Special shout out to Philip James Butchers, our event’s main sponsor, and all the talented entertainers and photographers who donated their time to create a magical evening.”
Through Mac’s Healing Hearts, Jo-Anne and our Maternity Team at the Trust continue to support grieving families with monthly coffee mornings and donations to other local baby and child charities like Dresses for Angels.
She remains committed to making a difference, vowing to continue her fundraising efforts in Mac’s honour. Thank you, Jo-Anne!
