Following months of engagement and content creation involving key stakeholders including colleagues, Trust Members, patients and members of our community, our new public-facing website has launched.
The new site meets the latest accessibility guidelines and has been fully updated across branding and content including a refreshed services and events sections.
Karlie Thompson, Associate Director of Communications has led the procurement, design and content development of the new website since June 2023. She said: “We know that our community and colleagues felt frustrated with our previous website – it was outdated and at times, confusing to find the information you required easily and quickly.
“Our new site has so many fantastic features that will really enhance the user’s experience and will help us continue to provide exceptional patient care. The site is also fully optimised, which means that no matter what device you access the new site on, you will have an incredible experience, as the layout and orientation changes to suit your device.
“Do have a look around our new site and tell us what you like, or what you think might need to be changed. We know there will be a period for embedding and also familiarising ourselves with the new site, so any feedback you can share will be greatly appreciated.
“Thank you to my team and everyone involved in the design and content creation for this project; a lot of hard work has gone into creating this and our new staff-facing intranet which will launch early in 2024.”
To help our communities and colleagues access our new site easily, the same URL has been used, meaning any current shortcuts or ‘favourites’ on peoples’ devices will still work.
The previous website is being transferred to a ‘host’ URL for three months from Monday, 18 December.
