Colleagues, patients and visitors must now wear surgical face masks when visiting or working in our hospital in clinical areas, including outpatient areas.

Masks do not need to be worn in non-clinical areas.

Thank you for helping us protect our colleagues and patients.

We hope this is a temporary measure. The decision will be reviewed regularly. It has been made in line with agreed thresholds for the numbers of inpatients with positive Covid and flu cases.

The thresholds were defined in discussion with our partners, stakeholders and leading experts in Infection Prevention and Control.

Thank you for keeping everybody safe.

Mask and hand wash stations are available at all entrances and exits in our hospital, as well as ward and department entrances.
