Today we celebrated the first birthday of our Health and Wellbeing Hub – our onsite facility that offers both physical and mental health support to our colleagues.
At our birthday celebrations today (Friday, 5 July) Abbie Foster, Health and Wellbeing Lead, announced that the facility would be going 24/7 from September – and colleagues were delighted!
Abbie said: "I am so excited to be sharing this news with colleagues.
"We have had a lot of feedback, particularly from our clinical colleagues, who said that extending the hours would help them to access the Hub more - and now they will be able to access it 24/7!"
This was not our only announcement of the day... The Mayor and Mayoress of Chesterfield and Atul Patel, Charity Chair, also unveiled the new logo for Chesterfield Royal Hospital Trust Charity!
Atul said: "Chesterfield Royal Charity will now become Chesterfield Royal Hospital Trust Charity: Our goal is to be more inclusive and represent the whole Trust – this includes Royal Primary Care and our wholly owned subsidiary, DSFS too but ultimately have a connection to our communities.
"People understand the work of the hospital, in the main, and hopefully, this will show that any donation – big or small – will make a huge impact."
