From Wednesday, 2 April, Basil Ward has been temporarily relocated to Pearson Ward whilst important estates work takes place.

To ensure minimum disruption for our patients and their visitors, the telephone number for the ward will remain the same. These can be found on our website, or by contacting our Switchboard team via 01246 277 271.

Temporary signs have been placed on the entrance to Basil Ward ensuring that any visitors not aware of the temporary relocation will be able to follow signs. Visitors can also ask a friendly colleague on our reception desk for directions.

The works are expected to take between two to eight weeks to complete, and we will inform our community when the works are complete.  

Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping us prioritise our patients and their safety whilst these essential maintenance works take place.
