Community Midwifery Services

A community midwife will be your named contact throughout your pregnancy and up to 28 days after you have given birth. 

You will have a named midwife as your main caregiver, but other members of the team may give care when needed. The teams work with other community services such as GPs, mental health teams and health visitors. 

The team will follow you throughout your pregnancy, support you in labour, and visit you and your baby at home.
