The Speech and Language Therapy Feeding Team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital offers a service to help children who have eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties.

Our aim is to assess feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties and support children to eat and drink as safely as possible to reduce the risk of health issues that can be caused by these.

The Child Feeding Guide: This website provides information for professionals supporting families and for parents with children who are experiencing feeding and eating challenges.

First Steps Eating Disorders: This is a charitable organisation offering support and intervention for children and their families who are experiencing eating difficulties including children who have restricted patterns of eating or Avoidant and Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).
